Jacobellis: (Verb) To Lose Due To Showboating

In the 2006 Winter Olympics, Lindsey Jacobellis was on her way to a gold medal in the Snowboard Cross event. She had a three-second lead and was in sight of the finish line. On the penultimate jump, she decided to attempt an aerial trick to celebrate, and that decision ended up costing her big time.

A Night At The Races
